In 1997 we started activities in the field of electronic components (called also IP cores). The company focused on development of commodity IP cores, revitalizing industry standard architectures for use in system-on-chip design.

OBSOLETE PARTS REPLACEMENT
Since the C8051 component (compliant to Intel™ 80C51 device) was developed as our first synthesizable core, Evatronix has built extensive experience in designing electronic virtual components which are equivalent to ‘obsolete parts.’
Replacement made to measure
This experience we gathered formed a basis for a robust methodology for designing replacements of obsolete parts. Whether the replacement is realized as targeted ASIC or FPGA, Evatronix’ experience in this field enables our customers to avoid complete redesign of products that rely on chips discontinued by their original manufacturers.
Off-the-shelf cores equivalent to discontinued ICs
Over the years we have designed a number of obsolete part replacements for popular processors, DSPs and numeric coprocessors which are listed below and available off-the-shelf. Some architectures were enhanced, while preserving full software compatibility to the original architecture.
IP ON DEMAND
IP-on-demand design services give our customers access to the solutions tailored to their specific needs that cannot be satisfied by any standard product. Specification of the IP, the project schedule and the list of requested deliverables are prepared in tight interaction with the customer in order to fully meet their expectations and fit into their design flow. While the project is progressing Evatronix engineers are always in direct contact with a customer to ensure that the block being designed will fit its targeted environment.

We can help you to develop your next ASIC/SoC product from its specification to the final RTL database to the working FPGA prototype and that includes also development of embedded software.
You will shorten time-to-market for your next product by:
• picking up our off-the-shelf IP cores, including one or more of our processors or microcontrollers
• having our IP cores tuned to your needs by their original developers
• having undifferentiating parts of your design developed by our highly qualified team of engineers according to your specs (IP-on-demand) and thus being able to focus on those parts of the design that are key for building a competitive advantage in your target market.
You will gain even more by outsourcing to us:
• development of embedded software, including interfacing your application to peripheral drivers and getting it all run under (real time) operating system if needed
• integration of all hardware blocks (including those developed by you) and the software

FPGA design and implementation
We have been using FPGA based prototyping as a method for final verification of our IP cores since the very beginning of our activity in silicon IP business.
Over years we have built a vast experience in development of FPGA based systems as for most of our cores we have also developed complex reference designs and demonstration environments.
These designs are complete systems-on-programmable-chip running a vast amount of software (and that includes third party operating systems like µC OS II, eCoS, Linux or WindowsCE and peripheral drivers – like Micrium µC/FS FAT compatible file system and software stacks – like CMX TCP/IP stack).
We have expertise in both Altera and Xilinx technologies.
Equipped with FPGA synthesis tools from Synplicity and Mentor Graphics as well as FPGA vendor design suites for physical design and for software development for embedded processor cores we may realize complete FPGA-based electronic system (including printed circuit board) according to your specification.
