Per joined Gaisler in April 2004 with more than 15-years experience in the space and telecom industry. Prior to Gaisler, Per was the president of Radians Innova, a company making tunable lasers for optical telecom applications. He also spent 11 years at Saab Space and held positions from systems engineer to general manager of the digital products division. Per holds a masters degree in electronics engineering from the Chalmers University of Gothenburg, Sweden

   

Shrenik Mehta

Shrenik Mehta is the Senior Director of Frontend Technologies and OpenSPARC program. In the area of Frontend Technologies, he is responsible for the tools and methodology in the areas of Simulation/Hardware Acceleration, Formal Verification, Testability & Debug tools, Implementation and Verification IP used in the development and validation of ASICs, Processors and Systems. In the area of OpenSPARC, Shrenik has been driving the details from the infancy of the project to the public release of the deliverables and looks forward to building a larger OpenSPARC community. OpenSPARC is world s first 64 bit, 8 core, 32 threaded design available for download from www.opensparc.net Shrenik is currently the Chairman of Accellera, an industry standard s organisation (www.accellera.org) He was also the Vice-Chair of IEEE 1800 SystemVerilog Workging Group Shrenik has been with Sun for the last 17 years. Prior to Sun, Shrenik had worked as a Design Manager at Nexgen Microsystems (acquired by AMD) working on X86 compatible processor. Prior to Nexgen, Shrenik worked as a designer on graphics and FDDI Networking products at AMD. He holds eight US Patents and one patent in Taiwan. Shrenik hold a Master s Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Hachelor s degree from Institute of Technology - BHU, Varanasi (India).
