Biography:

Fadi Azhari brings a unique and broad knowledge of the entire IT food chain, from consumer devices at the edge of the network to large corporate server computing in the data center.

Fadi is Director of marketing at Sun Microsystems, Inc., driving the game-changing open source initiative for Sun's OpenSPARC Chip Multithreading technology. Previous to his current role. Fadi was Director of outbound product marketing for Sun's SPARC server line.

In his career, he also held various marketing positions. As Director of marketing at Philips Electronics Handheld Computing Group, he was responsible for introducing one of the best selling MIPS based microprocessor for Smartphone products; Fadi was also business development manager at Motorola for the PowerPC architecture. Fadi holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Fadi is an award recipient of Sun's Chairman leadership award for innovation (2006) and the industry Mobile Maven award for innovation for the hand held computing industry (1997).
