Express Logic's ThreadX RTOS Supports AMCC's PowerPC 405EZ Acadia Evaluation Kit
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- April 2, 2007 -- Express Logic, Inc., the worldwide leader in royalty-free real-time operating systems (RTOS), today announced that its market leading ThreadX RTOS supports AMCC’s newly announced PowerPC 405EZ Acadia Evaluation Kit. The PowerPC 405EZ embedded processor provides a low power and small footprint system-on-a-chip solution for a wide range of high-performance, cost-constrained embedded applications—a perfect match for Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS. Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS, deployed in over 450 million electronic products, complements AMCC’s PowerPC 405EZ, offering a small memory footprint and lightning-fast interrupt response.
