InterNiche Technologies Announces Immediate Availability of Network Object Code Protocol Libraries for STMicroelectronics STM 32 Family
CAMPBELL, Calif. — September 17, 2012 — InterNiche Technologies is excited to announce the next step in the evolution of embedded networking software for STMicroeletronics STM32, F207, F217, F407 and F417 microprocessors. InterNiche is today announcing immediate availability of low cost object code versions of our TCP/IP v4 and Dual IPv4/v6, HTTP, FTP and Telnet, which means companies can now acquire networking libraries at a fraction of the cost of source code libraries. These modules are derived from our widely deployed NicheStack family of protocol software and are fully functional. “These modules are ideal for companies that do not require the flexibility that source code provides or, have low volume production runs or, lack the software expertise or budgets required for source code,” said Larry Larder, InterNiche president. “Because these libraries utilize industry standard APIs, are well documented and come with examples, network-enabling your product is almost as simple as linking your application to the RTOS.” Libraries include both DEBUG and NON-DEBUG versions, are pre-compiled for the most popular tool chains and include the popular operating system, FreeRTOS.
”The close coupling of the Interniche libraries with the STM32 devices enables much greater efficiency using binary forms that allow mass market applications to benefit from Interniche’s professional offer,” said Michel Buffa General Manager of ST's Microcontroller Division. “Making this solution available for several STM32 series offers an upgradable performance path, at significantly lower cost, while keeping pin-to-pin and software compatibility.”
The modules are immediately available from www.embeddedsoftwarestore.com, FreeRTOS+ http://www.FreeRTOS.org/embTCP and http://www.dr-embedded.com/ecommerce/. More information about the modules can be found on http://www.tcpipstack.com.
