Imagination Technologies: Bert Nordberg to succeed Geoff Shingles as Chairman
February 09, 2015 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE: IMG, “Imagination”, “the Group”), a leading multimedia, communications and processor technology company, has today appointed Bert Nordberg as a non-executive director and Chairman designate, with effect from 20 March 2015. He will succeed Geoff Shingles, who is retiring on 20 March 2015.
Bert Nordberg joins the board following an executive career spanning 30 years in the technology sector, latterly as President and CEO of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. He was President and CEO of Sony Ericsson from 2009 to 2012 and Executive Vice President at Ericsson from 1996 to 2009.
He is currently Chairman of Vestas Wind Systems A/S and is a non-executive director of AB Electrolux and SCA - Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget. He was a non-executive director of Blackberry Limited.

The Group confirms that there is no information to disclose relating to Mr. Nordberg under rules 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
