LG Electronics (LGE) Licenses Rambus Cryptography Research's CryptoManager Security Platform
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – November 30, 2015 – Cryptography Research, the security division of Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS), today announced that LG Electronics (LGE), a global technology leader in consumer electronics, home appliances and mobile communications, has licensed the CryptoManager™ security platform for its next-gen mobile devices. The CryptoManager platform will provide LGE with a robust security solution, which includes a hardware root-of-trust for provisioning of keys to manage sensitive data on mobile devices. Specific terms of the agreement are confidential.
