Coreworks LDA specializes in digital circuit and system design. The applications include digital audio, video, communications and computing. We provide IP cores with comprehensive simulation environments, FPGA Evaluation Boards and post-sale support up to complete and perfect integration of our IPs in customer projects. In addition we offer high quality design services: design of components or entire turnkey solutions may be subcontracted to us.

Our solutions are optimized for size, performance, power or cost. Our target techonologies are programmable devices (FPGAs and PLDs) and systems on a chip (SOCs).

Coreworks was founded in March 2001 by university staff of the INESC-ID research institute and the Technical University of Lisbon. We are a team of highly educated engineers, holding Ph.D. and M.S. degrees, who have working experience in both academia and industry. Our project leaders have published more than 100 papers in international conferences and journals, and have acquired experience working for major electronic design companies around the world.
