The RivieraWaves RW-BTDM-RF IP is a Bluetooth 4.0 RF IP for integration into ASIC and compatible with "classic" BR/EDR Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy specifications. Backward compatible with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and 3.0, it is a full 2.4GHz RF transceiver that supports basic rate (BR), Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) and low energy rate (LE). It is provided with an integrated digital modem that performs GFSK, QPSK and 8-DPSK modulations and demodulations. It therefore shows a digital interface to the baseband controller for data, control and register programming (SPI).
