Development Kit
MLSoC™ DevKit 2.0: SiMa.ai’s MLSoC Development Kit contains everything you need to evaluate, prototype and demonstrate your computer vision ML applications on the developer board using the contained MLSoC purpose-built silicon from SiMa.ai. The Development Kit combines a compact Developer Board based upon our HHHL PCIe production board that has been modified to expose interfaces utilized by developers and accommodates operation stand-alone on a lab bench environment as well as able to embed in a PCIe platform. This on-bench or in PC configuration options offer flexibility to support different developer profiles.

MLSoC Platform FAQ
The SiMa.ai Machine Learning System on Chip (MLSoC) platform is a full stack software and silicon solution, with a unified software development environment called Palette that supports the full ML application solution development with an effortless create, build and deploy process. The Palette software includes a set of comprehensive application examples that run on all of our hardware board configurations to support modifying for multiple configurations and use cases. We have created a Developer Kit which combines the PaletteTM development software platform, with our MLSoC based developer board to enable you to quickly evaluate your ML models, prototype proof-of-concept pipelines and demonstrate using real-time data streams.
SiMa.ai is in volume production for commercial and industrial temperature range and screening options for the MLSoC silicon. The production silicon is also available in production board level products that are stocked for shipment in several form factors, including PCIe and Dual M.2 configurations. Additional form factors are available upon request.
Our Palette software is licensed as a seat license and provides for use over a specified period of time. Software licenses are subscription based with typical quarterly feature updates, bug fixes, maintenance releases and support via our Zendesk portal.

The MLSoC silicon is a complete Machine Learning System-on-Chip that comes with support for a complete ML vision pipeline, with industry standard I/O (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART, etc..) for your data streams, with hardware accelerated video decompression, a computer vision processing subsystem with 4xDSPs and a host ARM subsystem with 4xCPU with L1/L2 coherent cache and coherent network on chip interconnecting to the processing subsystems for application stack hosting and management. 32 MBytes of internal memory is complemented by external DDR and flash memory support to provide for large model and application code.
