Seminar: IP-XACT Users’ Group First European Meeting
Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 4:30PM - 7:00 PM | Room: 3

The First European IP-XACT Users' Group meeting will gather representatives from SoC integrator companies, IP providers and EDA design tools vendors to exchange experiences and best practices on the industrial usage of the IP-XACT 1.4 standard. The presentations will give insight into the way how the standard is applied in real industrial projects, which standard features are successfully applied, which problems could have been solved and what further improvements needs to be incorporated to better answer user's needs.

The session is organised by the IP-XACT Users' group established in the first quarter of 2008 by a core group of companies: Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, Synopsys and ECSI in cooperation with the SPIRIT Consortium.

The group's objectives are:
- Exchange of user experience
- Feedback from the community to support structured innovation and evolution of the SPIRIT Consortium standards
- Contribution to the adoption of the IP-XACT standard in industry
- Fostering the communication between the SPIRIT Consortium and the User Community
- Provision of insight on the adoption of IP-XACT by IP & EDA tools vendors
