Invited Talk:
Plug-And-Play IP for FPGA Based SoC Design
Wednesday December 1, 2010, 10:30 - 11:00 | Room: Auditorium
By Rick Tomihiro,
Xilinx
In the past decade, the size and complexity of many FPGA designs exceeds the time and resources available, making the use and reuse of Intellectual Property (IP) imperative. However, integrating numerous IP blocks acquired from both internal and external sources can be a daunting challenge that often extends, rather than shortens, design time. This presentation will discuss how the adoption of standards such as AMBA® AXI4, IP-XACT and IEEE-P1735 increases the performance, ease of use and availability of IP Cores.
