Arm China profit falls 90%

Profit at Arm China fell  90% in 2022, reports Reuters.

Arm China’s net profit fell to $3.2 million in 2022, says the Reuters report,  from $79.2 million in 2021.

Arm China grew to nearly $890 million lin 2022 from $665 million the year before.

In 2021, Arm China is said to have paid Arm $500 million.

Arm China is said to account for 20-25% of Arm’s total revenue,.

Last week Arm China laid off 14% of its staff.

Arm China distributes Arm’s IP in China.
