Hantro Licenses Multimedia Technology to Skyworks for Lynx EDGE Multimedia Mobile PlatformIndustry Leaders Enable High-Quality Video in Media-Rich Handsets April 7th, 2006 -- Hantro, a leading provider of multimedia technology for mobile devices, announced today that it has licensed video and audio coding technology to Skyworks Solutions, Inc., and industry leader in radio solutions and precision analog semiconductors. This agreement, which covers the 4100 and 4200 MPEG-4 / H.263 video codecs, enables customers of Skyworks’ Lynx™ EDGE multimedia mobile platform to benefit from the additional performance delivered by Hantro’s highly optimised multimedia components.
