MOSAID Names New Chief Financial Officer
OTTAWA, Ontario – April 30, 2007 - MOSAID Technologies Inc. (TSX:MSD), a leading intellectual property development and licensing company, today strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Joseph R. Brown to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Brown succeeds Richard D. Boadway, who served as MOSAID's CFO since 1997. "Mr. Brown has the skills, experience and drive needed to move us forward as an aggressive, growth-oriented intellectual property company, tightly focused on memory and wireless patent licensing, and advanced technology research and development," said John Lindgren, President and Chief Executive Officer, MOSAID. "Further, Joe provides us with invaluable continuity as we embark on this next phase of MOSAID's transformation." Since joining the Company in 1988, Mr. Brown has held increasingly senior roles in MOSAID's finance group, most recently as Vice President, Finance. In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Brown will be responsible for managing the Company's financial strategy and operations, including reporting requirements and treasury functions. Prior to joining MOSAID, Mr. Brown was with Price Waterhouse chartered accountants. Mr. Brown is a Certified General Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University. About MOSAID
