Cadence Selects Wipro-Newlogic's Wireless LAN IP For Its SoC Functional Verification Kit

By selecting Wipro-NewLogic technology to be integrated into the wireless segment representative design included with the kit, Cadence® is giving designers the verification capabilities they need to solve the challenges associated with developing and verifying an 802.11 WLAN-enabled SoC. “Our customers face the challenge of verifying increasingly complex SoCs that target wireless applications like Voice over Wireless LAN and mobile multimedia clients,” said Mana Coste, Marketing Director at Wipro-NewLogic. “Including our silicon-proven 802.11 Wireless LAN IP in Cadence’s SoC Functional Verification Kit allows verification engineers to see how the kit’s Incisive® Plan-to-Closure Methodology and flows can be applied to a real wireless design.” The Cadence SoC Functional Verification Kit provides a proven end-to-end methodology covering block-level designer verification to chip- and system-level advanced verification, automating Incisive Plan-to-Closure Methodology comprehension and implementation. The Wipro-NewLogic IP solution features low-power operation and support for the latest Wi-Fi® specifications like WPA2™ and WMM®.
