Compute, Memory, and Storage Initiative
Updated January 2024
The member companies of the SNIA Compute, Memory, and Storage Initiative (CMSI) support the industry drive to combine processing with memory and storage, and to create new compute architectures and software to analyze and exploit the explosion of data creation over the next decade. The CMSI and its special interest groups – Computational Storage, Persistent Memory, DPU, and Solid State Drives - engage and educate on technology, accelerate SNIA standards, and propel technology adoption through interactive webinars with industry experts, videos on the SNIA YouTube channel, and programming workshops and demonstrations at live and online technology events.
Congratulations and a big "Thank You" to the SNIA members who voted SNIA Compute, Memory, and Storage Initiative as "SNIA Group of the Year". Learn more about these recognitions for SNIA volunteer contributors and groups on our SNIA Awards page.
Learn more about Initiative support of technical work in our video below, on our Blog and our About page, and in our CMSI infographic.
