MacBook Air and Pro owners should be familiar with Thunderbolt. One of the issues has been the lack of Thunderbolt peripherals. Belkin provides a solution - the Thunderbolt hub, where you can connect your Apple display and it adds USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI video plus an audio out jack.
Compared to other connectors Thunderbolt is smaller and faster, multiplexing PCI Express and Displayport data on a new high speed serial interface, it is the latest wired connectivity standard for connecting peripherals to a computer.
