- The combined capabilities will enhance the customer experience, enabling us to deliver more robust, integrated solutions that address evolving market needs.
For engineers and PCB designers, access to accurate, production-ready component models is critical to moving from concept to manufacturing quickly and confidently. EMA's flagship solution, Ultra Librarian, addresses this challenge by providing millions of verified electronic components—complete with schematic symbols, PCB footprints, 3D models, and supply chain data—all in a CAD-agnostic format.
With more than 400,000 registered users worldwide, Ultra Librarian has become a go-to resource for design teams looking to reduce manual library creation, improve design accuracy, and eliminate bottlenecks caused by missing or inconsistent part data.
By integrating EMA and FlowCAD technology into the Cadence ecosystem, we're building on a collaboration that spans more than 20 years. Deeper integration with the Allegro X and OrCAD X platforms will enable scalable library and data management capabilities—making it easier to find, validate, and integrate the components you need directly within your design environment.
EMA also brings strong partnerships with leading component manufacturers and distributors across the electronics supply chain. Many of these partners already rely on Cadence solutions to develop today's most advanced ICs and systems. With the addition of Ultra Librarian, we're expanding the value to that ecosystem by helping ensure engineers have seamless access to trusted, up-to-date component data throughout the design process.
As EMA and FlowCAD join Cadence, customers can expect:
- Faster access to verified component models directly within the Allegro X and OrCAD X platforms
- Reduced time spent creating and validating part libraries
- Improved design accuracy with trusted schematic, footprint, and 3D model data
- Scalable library and component data management across teams and projects
- Streamlined collaboration with component manufacturers and distributors
- Accelerated development cycles and reduced time to market
Together, Cadence, EMA and FlowCAD are committed to helping design teams reduce risk, improve productivity, and bring innovative electronic products to market faster.
We're thrilled to welcome the EMA and FlowCAD team and look forward to enabling the next generation of intelligent electronic system design.
