We often place value on many things in our modern world by their price per unit weight. For example, a new Porsche comes in at $46 per pound; 16 ounces of the latest American F35A jet fighter will set you back about $10,000; and gold is more than double that. And our end product – “active” silicon – beats them all at $3.4 million for a single pound!
While we are making the most valuable stuff on Earth, something else is worth even more, in my opinion. In fact, I would call it “priceless.”
