Based on their industry-leading capacity, performance, and cost-effectiveness, Xilinx® Virtex FPGAs are the number one choice of designers worldwide. With consistent evolution of the FPGA architecture, Xilinx Virtex FPGAs have continued to expand in usage since their introduction in 1997 to become the premier Platform FPGA solution in the industry. With today's 90nm Virtex-4 multi-platform FPGA family, designers of logic, embedded processing, DSP, and high-speed serial applications can select from 17 devices and three domain-optimized platforms.
