In this session, Kalinsky will examine the pitfalls of traditional Symmetric MultiProcessing (SMP) for embedded real-time applications. He will then introduce a new approach to distributed multiprocessing known as Asymmetric Multiprocessing (AMP) that provides superior scaleability, real-time response and fault tolerance.
