--Ingot Systems, the leading provider of Electronic Design Solutions, today announced that iVivity has selected Ingot to provide DDR2 Memory Controller Intellectual Property (IP) cores for a new iVivity product targeted at storage network applications. iVivity selected Ingot's IP4001 DDR1/DDR2 Intelligent Memory Manager (IMM) IP Core along with the companion Ingot IP4010 DDR SDRAM PHY with DLL. The Ingot IP Cores are customized to specific iVivity requirements for seamless integration into the iVivity system. iVivity is a supplier of storage network processor silicon as well as custom storage adapters and motherboards to storage and networking manufacturers that want application-controlled storage connectivity. iVivity's iDiSX(R) is a new type of high performance, multi-core, "system-on-chip" storage silicon that combines high integration with low power, which significantly accelerates the design, development and deployment of intelligent storage systems, subsystems, blades and line cards. The Ingot Intelligent Memory Manager and PHY IP cores will be used in the iVivity iDiSX, the industry's only full performance 10Gbs iSCSI engine shipping today, which can be extended to FC.
