EONIC BV and Gaisler Research AB signs license agreement for LEON3 multiprocessor
Gothenburg, Sweden -- November 1st, 2006 - Gaisler Research AB announced that a license agreement has been signed for the use of the LEON3 multiprocessor with EONIC BV (Netherlands). The LEON3 and the GRLIB IP library will be used in EONIC's Multi channel Digital Recorder/Replay systems (SIGINT 5000 series). The SIGINT 5000 series are setting the operational standard for signal intelligence, communications and other mission critical data recording applications.

The LEON3 with multiprocessor capabilities together with the GRLIB IP-library is ideally suited for SoC designs and implements plug and play capabilities, minimizing the engineering effort during the design phase. The multiprocessor solution gives higher performance while maintaining low power and clock frequency
