Jetstream Media Technologies Announces a Full Line of Security IP Cores for ASIC and FPGA
The broad product line implements many security standards including AES, AES-CCM, AES-GCM, XEX-AES, secure hashing algorithms, Triple-DES and public key cryptography for applications ranging from secure wireless communication, storage server to network devices.
Naperville, Illinois -- December 14, 2006 – Jetstream Media Technologies announced today the availability of a full line of security IP cores. The newly introduced IP core family features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Counter mode with CBC-MAC (AES-CCM), Galois Counter Mode (AES-GCM), XEX-AES mode, combined cores, Triple Data Encryption Standard, and Secure Hashing IPs. The wide range of selections enable the manufacturers to choose the IP core that is best suited for their application needs.
The AES family are fully compliant with Advanced Encryption Standard, and include hardware key expansion. Five cores included in this family range from tiny size and low data rate to fully pipelined ultra-fast AES core.
The AES-CCM security core family supports many standards including WPA2 (for Wi-Fi®), WiMAX™, WiMedia®, ZigBee™, IPsec and tape storage. Each CCM core is optimized for a particular application.
The pipelined AES-GCM core integrates a Galois Field multiplier and an AES core to meet high data-rate requirements of many security applications such as MACsec, IPsec, tape storage and Fibre Channel security. The XEX-AES core supports high data-rate for hard disk storage encryption applications (new IEEE P1619-draft-based).
The security product line also includes multiple-standard combined cores such as GCM-XEX core. Other security products offered are Triple DES, security hashing algorithms, and public key accelerators. The configurable hashing core supports SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512 and MD5. The public key accelerator offers modular exponentiation solutions for RSA® and Diffie-Hellman up to 4096 bit.
Jetstream Media Technologies helps customers to speed time to market and to achieve targeted performance / gate count through flexible, reliable and scalable security IP products.
