LEON3 licensed for GPS receiver application
January 16, 2007 -- Gaisler Research AB announced that a license agreement has been signed for the use of the LEON3 processor and the GRLIB IP-library with Javad Inc. The LEON3 and the GRLIB IP-library will be used in a new GPS/Glonass receiver.

The LEON processor has previously been used for GPS receivers by companies such as Nemerix, Locsense, EADS Astrium and Semtech. The LEON processor is with the GRLIB IP-library is ideally suited for SoC designs and for low power handheld products.
