Patriot Scientific Names Jim Turley as President and CEO

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- June 4, 2007 -- Patriot Scientific Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PTSC - News) announced today the appointment of Jim Turley as the company's president and CEO. Turley succeeds David Pohl as chief executive; Pohl retains his position as the company's chairman of the board. The appointment is effective June 5th.

Turley has made a career of guiding and advising technology companies. Prior to joining PTSC, he was a member of the company's board of directors and chairman of its Technology Committee. Before founding the technology-analysis firm Silicon Insider in 2001, Turley was senior vice president of marketing and technology strategy at ARC International, a publicly held semiconductor IP-licensing firm. Turley is the author of seven books on computer and microprocessor technology, was previously editor-in-chief of Embedded Systems Design magazine and senior editor of the prestigious industry journal Microprocessor Report. He is a popular speaker and sought-after thought leader who frequently appears in print, television, radio, and online. His earlier career included positions in engineering, management and marketing for high- tech firms in the United States and Europe.
