Out of the total, 57.5 billion won will be spent up to 2027 for the research and development of new chip
IPs,the company said, 49.5 billion won will be spent on next-generation products and the application of an AI-based development process. 8 billion won will be spent on forming new research centers abroad.
Qualitas Semiconductor was listed on Kosdaq last year through its interface technology receiving an AA/A grade. It is developing the ultra-fastinterface PHY IP as a partner of Samsung Foundry. The company is developing PCIe 6.0 PHY IP that will be used in chip production later this year. A Qualitas Semiconductor spokesperson said few companies can offer the IP and its commercialization is expected to boost its profits significantly.
