Stream Processors Licenses PLDA PCI Express XpressRich IP core
PLDA Core Used in SPI's Next Generation of Video and Image DSP
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- July 4, 2007 -- PLDA, the industry leader in the high-speed bus IP market, today announced that Stream Processors, Inc. (SPI) has licensed PLDA’s XpressRich ASIC PCI Express IP core for use in its next generation of StormTM stream processors. The PLDA IP core selected by SPI is an endpoint/rootport PCI Express core running in a shared silicon mode. The PLDA PCIe IP core is 100% PCI-SIG compliant and is fully interoperable and rigorously tested with leading PHY manufacturers.
