Imagination Technologies confirms new Intel Centrino Atom processor technology utilises POWERVR graphics and video technologies
April 2, 2008 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE: IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property (SoC IP) announces that Intel® Centrino® Atom processor technology includes Imagination’s POWERVR® SGX graphics and POWERVR VXD multi-standard HD video technologies.
These graphics and video technologies, as part of the Intel® System Controller Hub in Intel Centrino Atom processor technology, enable the user to enjoy a richer Internet multimedia experience while consuming low power.

Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
