Christophe Guittard Joins VaST as Vice President/General Manager of Europe
Grenoble, France -- January 12, 2009 -- VaST, the leader in electronics virtualization, today named Christophe Guittard as the Vice President and General Manager of VaST in Europe.
Guittard joins VaST from Mentor Graphics, where he held the director of sales position in Europe for place & route technology, and brings more than 25 years experience in the semiconductor and electronics design automation industry.
Prior to Mentor Graphics, Guittard served as the European General Manager for Sierra Design Automation. Mr. Guittard also held various sales and marketing management roles at Cadence, Synopsys, Simplex, Epic and Valid. He began his career as a design engineer at Philips Semiconductor.
Mr. Guittard graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lille, France and holds an M.S. of semiconductors physics.
