LONDON — As part of its fourth quarter and full year 2008 financial results, processor IP licensor ARM Holdings plc (Cambridge, England) reported that in December 2008 it acquired Logipard AB (Lund, Sweden).
ARM did not reveal how much it paid to acquire Logipard, a video processor and imaging company, from Anoto Group AB although an indication of size can be given by the fact that 15 people joined ARM with the change of ownership. Logipard, which has been renamed ARM Sweden AB, has licensing deals in place with a global mobile phone manufacturer.
