Embedded World North America, Anaheim, US -- Microservice Store project is launched, the world’s first secure marketplace designed exclusively for embedded and IoT software. The platform introduces a new economy for developers and product vendors, transforming how secure, connected devices are built, distributed, and maintained.
Reinventing Embedded Software for a Connected World
For decades, embedded software development has remained trapped in a monolithic and fragmented model, causing long development cycles, high costs, limited reuse, and minimal economic return for developers.
The Microservice Store redefines this landscape by introducing a modular, architecture-agnostic, plug-and-play software model, where developers can publish independent Microservices and product vendors can securely integrate them into devices in weeks, not years.
“This launch represents the start of a new chapter for embedded systems, one where innovation becomes accessible, scalable, and shared across the entire ecosystem,” said Murat Cakmak, CEO of ZAYA. “The Microservice Store creates a bridge between technology and collaboration, empowering developers and vendors alike to build the future together.”
Secure by Design, From the Ground Up
At the heart of the Microservice Store is an integrated Security Manager running in the embedded device, delivering full lifecycle protection, from provisioning and updates to runtime isolation and monitoring. The system automates compliance with key cybersecurity standards such as UK PSTI, EU Cyber Resilience Act, and US IoT Cybersecurity Labelling Framework.
The store also brings containerisation/compartmentalisation, offering CHERI-like protection even on resource-constrained devices such as Arm Cortex-M0. This ensures every Microservice runs in its own secure environment with a single software upgrade.
Empowering Developers&IP Vendors, Accelerating Product Vendors
The Microservice Store empowers two key communities:
This approach makes device creation as simple as building with Lego, each Microservice representing a secure, reusable block.
A Secure and Connected Ecosystem
More than a platform, the Microservice Store represents a connected global ecosystem linking developers, manufacturers, and enterprises. Every transaction and update is authenticated, monitored, and managed through a trusted cloud platform, ensuring transparency, integrity, and automation across the device lifecycle.
Availability and Testing the Environment
The Microservice Store is now open for public access, inviting developers, product vendors, and industry partners to test the environment for free.
