Qualitas Semiconductor Signs First ASIL-B-Compliant MIPI Sub-system IP Agreement for Autonomous ADAS SoC

SEOUL, South Korea –   QUALITAS SEMICONDUCTOR CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Qualitas") (KOSDAQ: 432720), a leading provider of high-speed interconnect IP solutions, announced today that it has entered a MIPI Sub-system IP licensing agreement with a new customer in China.

Under the agreement, Qualitas will deliver its MIPI D-PHY TX/RX PHY IP and CSI-2 Controller IP, developed on an 8nm process, for the customer’s next-generation SoC development project. This ㅣlicensing agreement marks the first commercial agreement for Qualitas’s automotive-grade MIPI Sub-system IP designed to meet ASIL-B level requirements, representing a significant milestone that validates the company’s technological reliability in the autonomous ADAS market.

The IP will be deployed in a next-generation 4D Imaging Radar system for autonomous driving applications and is designed to ensure stable operation in ultra-high-speed, high-bandwidth data processing environments. Functional Safety (FuSa) requirements have been incorporated from the architectural level, and the solution is developed as an automotive-grade IP compliant with AEC-Q100 quality standards, making it well-suited for safety-critical autonomous ADAS systems that demand high reliability and robustness.

Meanwhile, Qualitas offers a broad portfolio of high-speed interface IPs, including PCIe, UCIe, Ethernet, MIPI, and DisplayPort solutions. The company continues to expand its global customer base across automotive, AI, data center, mobile, and imaging markets.
