ADTechnology Obtains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification

Seoul, South Korea — ADTechnology Co., Ltd., a South Korea–based semiconductor design house, said Tuesday that it has obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the international standard for information security management systems.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, revised in 2022, is the latest version of the globally recognized framework for information security management. The certification verifies that ADTechnology’s information security management system for IT operations and infrastructure supporting semiconductor design services meets international requirements. The certification was issued by BSI Group.

ADTechnology said it has strengthened its information asset protection and risk management framework to meet the security requirements demanded by global semiconductor customers. As part of the certification process, the company standardized key security controls — including access control, change management and incident response — in line with international standards.

“Information security is a fundamental requirement for a design house that operates on customer information assets,” said Jun-kyu Park, chief executive officer of ADTechnology. “With the ISO/IEC 27001 certification, we have further strengthened the security operating framework required for global collaboration.”

He added that the company plans to enhance information asset protection across the entire lifecycle of design, collaboration and operations, and to link its information security and risk management capabilities directly to business competitiveness.

Following the certification, ADTechnology said it will continue to formalize its security operations through regular internal audits, risk assessments and employee security training, while advancing post-certification activities such as security risk evaluations and internal control enhancements. The company said these efforts are aimed at consistently meeting global security requirements and expanding customer trust.
