Counterpoint Research Says Global Revenue Could Reach 1,500 Trillion Won This Year

As global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure investments surge, forecasts indicate that the global memory market size will grow more than fourfold this year compared to last year.
According to the memory tracker of market research firm Counterpoint Research on June 19, the global memory market size is predicted to reach approximately 1,500 trillion won ($1 trillion) this year. This is a 4.2-fold increase compared to 360 trillion won ($240 billion) last year. This is attributed to the steep increase in demand for server memory, such as DRAM and NAND, driven by large-scale AI infrastructure construction centered on the North American market.
