Chips&Media is expected to soon select an acquisition target in a deal worth up to 100 billion won. The company aims to complete the merger and acquisition (M&A) process within this year.
A Chips&Media official said on Aug. 4 that the company has been searching for acquisition candidates since last year. "We cannot disclose specific names, but digital and analog IP companies, as well as AI video algorithm developers, are among the leading candidates," the official said.
