Global Unichip Corp. — the TSMC-affiliated chip design house (guc-asic.com) that serves as the back-end engineering partner for some of the world's largest custom AI silicon programs — disclosed a new all-time monthly revenue record in July 2026, with year-over-year growth of 158.4%, per mandatory Taiwan Stock Exchange reporting filed Wednesday. The number is large, but the more consequential fact is what it measures: for the first time in the AI chip era, a TSMC-affiliate design house is generating the majority of its revenue not from the expensive, one-time work of designing chips — but from shipping them at scale. That distinction is the difference between a supply chain that is building infrastructure and one that has deployed it.
