AuthenTec will Demonstrate Its Newest Offerings for Mobile Security
YOKOHAMA, Japan, November 15, 2011 – AuthenTec (NASDAQ: AUTH), a leading provider of mobile and network security, today announced that it will exhibit and speak at the Embedded Technology 2011 Conference to be held from November 16-18 at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA in Yokohama, Japan. AuthenTec will demonstrate at its booth (B-35) the new QuickSec™ VPN Client 2.0 for Android which combines secure VPN with fingerprint recognition as well as its embedded and downloadable DRM Fusion offering for content protection on Android and Apple tablets and smartphones. The new QuickSec VPN 2.0 Client offers improvements over AuthenTec’s QuickSec VPN Client for Android by offering the latest features such as IKEv2 with MOBIKE, IPv6 and Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and later Android OS support. It also offers improved configuration, security, and interoperability with all major VPN gateways.
