DMP and III Collaborate to Promote DMP's Graphics Offering and GPU Integration Services to Taiwanese Customers
Taipei, Taiwan– June 4, 2012 – Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP), a leading provider of 2D/3D graphics Intellectual Property (IP) cores, today announced partnership with Institute for Information Industry (III) to promote DMP’s industry leading SMAPH graphics core family to Taiwan’s fabless IC design vendors. III is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) that supports the development of information industry as well as information society in Taiwan.
DMP’s 3D graphics IP products offer the industry leading performance, scalability,and the smallest power consumption compared to other competitive GPUs. This partnership targets the sophisticated and localized embedded GPU solution to Taiwanese high-tech industry with target market segments to be:
- Smartphone / Tablets
- Smart TV / STB
- Automotive
- Cameras
- Printers
- Other industrial devices
This partnership enables Taiwanese IC manufactures to develop and deploy high performance graphics based products sooner to market with III’s local integration and support services that include DMP’s graphics driver porting and optimization, GPU IP integration services, performance optimization, co-design and co-development of 3D applications such as 3D UI, 3D Photo Browser and similar.
