ARC International Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
San Jose, CA, June 20, 2002 - ARC International (LSE:ARK), a leader in semiconductor and software technology licensing, today announced that it has appointed Monica Johnson as its new Chief Financial Officer and senior vice president.
Johnson has held several senior level finance and accounting positions at Hewlett Packard's Semiconductor Products Group, where she worked for ten years. Her most recent position was the Chief Financial Officer at Webvan Group, an online retail and delivery service. She holds a MBA from Cornell University, NY and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
"I am very happy we were able to attract someone with Monica Johnson's talent and capabilities. She will make a great contribution to our future success" said Mike Gulett, ARC's president and CEO. Johnson joins the company effective June 28, 2002 and will be based in ARC's offices in San Jose, CA.
