The MicroXsafe 6003 provides advanced security to address the growth in data breaches while lowering the bill of materials (BOM) when compared to traditional solutions that require both a smart card and USB chip architecture. The MicroXsafe 6003 is the industry’s only single chip solution that embeds a real-time clock (RTC) with low power consumption to further reduce costs and improve battery lifetime to 5 years or more.

Many household names like Google and Dropbox are adding Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) security keys as an additional method for two-step verification, giving customers stronger authentication following the “FIDO Universal 2nd Factor (U2F)” specification from the FIDO Alliance.
