M31 and Innovative Logic USB 3.1 Gen 2 IP got Certification from USB-IF
M31 Technology, Hsinchu, Taiwan/ Innovative Logic, San Jose, CA -- February 1, 2018 – M31 Technology, a global Intellectual Property (IP) boutique, together with Innovative Logic Inc. (Inno-Logic, www.inno-logic.com), a leading provider of reusable standard based Intellectual Property (IP) and ASIC, FPGA, and Embedded Systems services, announced certification of its USB 3.1 gen 2 Device Controller IP in USB Implementer Forum (USB-IF) workshop in Taipei, Taiwan. Inno-Logic’s USB3.1 gen2 device controller along with PHY from M31 Technology again successfully passed all compliance tests and received certification from USB-IF in November 2017. Besides USB 3.1 gen 2 Controller IP, the USB 2.0 device controller IP also passed the certification test in November, 2017.
Innovative Logic has been licensing their USB3.1/USB3.0/2.0 dual role device & host controller IPs for the last 7 years along with well-known PHY vendors to ensure complete solutions to their customers as a one-stop shop. Inno-Logic’s USB 3.1 device controller IP supports SuperSpeedPlus mode in addition to SuperSpeed mode. In addition, Inno-Logic’s USB3.1 IP is fully backward compatible with USB2.0. USB 3.1 Gen 2 IP is designed to offer the best performance with lowest possible power consumption and minimum area.
M31 Technology USB 3.1/2.0 PHY IP is extremely popular and well received by their existing customers for maturity, quality, compact size and support ranging from most popular to most advanced nodes. M31 Technology believes in first time silicon success and offers complete and high quality solutions to their customers.
“By again receiving certification for our USB3.1 Gen 2 IP, we have demonstrated strong commitment towards providing quality IP. It also demonstrates our sustained ability to provide complete USB3.1 IP solution to our customer” said Dinesh Tyagi, President & CEO at Innovative Logic.
“M31 is delighted again to get our USB3.1 Gen2 PHY IP with Inno-Logic’s USB3.1/2.0 device controller IP certified which was targeted for 28nm HPC+ technology process.
We always want to make sure that our customer receives complete solution instead of getting in bits and pieces. We are extremely proud to have one more milestone in that direction along with Innovative Logic” said Allen Sha, President of M31 Technology USA.
Innovative Logic’s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Device Controller IP is available for licensing worldwide. It is available in RTL source code version along with complete verification suite with all the test vectors, scripts, manuals, etc. Innovative Logic also has fully working FPGA based demo setup along with M31 PHY IP for demonstration, evaluation, prototyping and emulation purposes.
