FPGA specialist Altera Corp. has acquired the assets of defunct high-performance licensable-DSP company BOPS Inc., according to industry sources.
Altera executives this week declined to discuss the acquisition, saying the company is not prepared to elaborate on what assets it obtained and what it plans to do with the BOPS IP.
BOPS was based in Mountain View, Calif. prior to closing its doors.
