TTPCom has established a very strong reputation through its longstanding involvement in the China market; we are very confident in their technology and intend to grow a significant mobile phone business based on TTPCom’s platforms. There is a huge market for mobile phones in China and to develop and manufacture our own handsets is a natural evolution for Daxian given our extensive experience in the manufacture of TV sets, display devices and related communications equipment”.
“TTPCom has been active in the China market for over 10 years now and we are fully committed to facilitating technology transfer and enabling local manufacturers to take on the whole process of designing and developing mobile phones, not only for sale in the Chinese market, but for export to Europe and North and South America,” explained Wang Yun, General Manager of TTPCom’s Shanghai office. “We offer all of our customers a dedicated level of technical support which is matched to their level of expertise in developing mobile phones and this serves to speed the whole development and integration process. Through our close working relationship we are able to determine the specific needs of our customers in China and we have developed a clear roadmap that takes them through from GSM products through GPRS and on to 3G.
