MorethanIP releases Dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet to PCI-X System IP
Karlsfeld February 4, 2004 - MorethanIP releases Dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC to PCI-X System IP. The DPX-133 Controller from MorethanIP provides a cost effective and integrated solution to Bridge two Ethernet links to a 133MHz PCI-X bus connected to a Host or an Embedded System. The Controller implements two complete triple speed 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet MACs compliant with the IEEE802.3-2002 standard. The MAC layer provides compatibility with Full Duplex Gigabit Ethernet LANs and legacy Half or Full Duplex 10/100Mbps Ethernet LANs. The Controller PCI-X Interface, combined with on-chip DMA controllers, provides an efficient Frame transfer mechanism with no software overhead. The DPX-133 PCI-X interface is also compatible with legacy 33/66MHz 32/64-Bit PCI busses.
