IDT Expands its MIPS-Based Portfolio with MIPS32 4KEc Core To Meet Demand for High-Performance SoC Solutions
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., February 23, 2004 - MIPS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: MIPS), a leading provider of industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications, today announced it has licensed its popular MIPS32™ 4KEc™ processor core to IDT (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.). With this agreement, IDT expands upon its 15-year history as a leading provider of high-performance solutions to the communications and networking markets using the industry-standard MIPS® architecture.
