NewLogic Expands Portfolio of Digital, Analog and Mixed-Signal IP Blocks
NewLogic is offering Integrated Circuit (IC) designers a range of high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP Cores to provide a cost-effective way to develop new IC's and also achieve a fast time to market. The new cores are silicon-proven and include a “state of the art” 10 GHz PLL design for CMOS technology.
NewLogic's analog and mixed-signal IP Core portfolio also includes high frequency dual A-D and D-A Converters, LVDS Driver and Receiver, a high frequency Quadrature Divider and a Crystal Oscillator
Potential applications for these new IP blocks include WLAN radio transceivers and modems and other high speed wired and wireless communication systems. The LVDS Driver and Receiver are designed for short range communications such as from PCB to PCB at up to 250 MHz per serial channel.
NewLogic supports the IP Cores with a complete range of IC design services from system specification through design, layout, verification and sample device evaluation.
"NewLogic has significant experience of developing complex RF and other analog and mixed signal IC's including integration of IP Cores", commented Chris Eden, Marketing Director of NewLogic. "This experience has enabled us to both develop a range of cores which are particularly suitable for high frequency applications and also ensure that we deliver what is required to meet the expectations of IC designers."
Each IP Core license includes comprehensive documentation and test results. Analog designs are provided as hard-macros (GDSII) for processes including 0.18µm CMOS and can be ported to other processes on request. Digital IP Cores are provided as synthesizable VHDL, with supporting test benches and synthesis scripts.
