Agreement Gives Agilent’s Customers Access to Industry-Standard MIPS®Architecture for Use in High-Growth Embedded Applications
MOUNTAIN VIEW and PALO ALTO, Calif., September 23, 2004 -
MIPS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: MIPS) and Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that Agilent has licensed the MIPS32® 4K™, 4KE™ embedded processor core families, and the M4K™ and MIPS64® 5Kc® and 5Kf™ cores. The licensing agreement also gives Agilent access to the Pro Series™ versions of these products. Using it's comprehensive SOC capabilities, Agilent will target customers in a wide range of embedded markets, including desktop printing and imaging.
