Trent Poltronetti Joins IPextreme as Vice President of Marketing
CAMPBELL, CA - November 01, 2004 -Up-and-coming semiconductor intellectual property (IP) sub-system supplier, IPextreme, has hired experienced technology marketer Trent Poltronetti to be their Vice President of Marketing. Trent will report directly to IPextreme's President and CEO Warren Savage and join the executive team that also includes industry veteran Vice President of Sales, Paul Giordano.
Trent has been helping high tech companies get to market since the late 80s. Before joining IPextreme, Trent was key in establishing Synchronicity Inc as the leading supplier of semiconductor design collaboration and IP reuse software, by accelerating their sales cycle, repackaging their products and generally building awareness. Through the mid 90's, Trent held a similar role at microprocessor licensing leader ARM plc, ramping up much of their marketing from startup to the worldwide team that led up to their IPO. Prior to joining ARM, Trent was part of an investment banking team at a technology brokerage that helped ARM secure early funding. Trent has computer a Computer Engineering Degree and MBA from the University of Manitoba.
